Spelling:  I did pg 63-64 in SW.  I also did a spelling bee with the spelling words for this week.

Reading:  I read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See by Bill Martin and Why We Have Thanksgiving by Margaret Hillert.

Language:  I reviewed all poems thus far.  I worked on memorizing Days of the Week.

I read Come ot School, Dear Dragon by Margaret Hillert to my mom.

My mom read Half-A-Ball of Kenki and The Hen and Dove from Misoso:  Once Upon a Time Tales from Africa retold by Verna Aardema to me.

She also read Lions at Lunchtime (MTH#11–chapter book) by Mary Pope Osborne,  Mother Rabbit’s Son Tom by Dick Gackenbach, and The Grandma Cure by Pamela Mayer to Ryllan and me.

Math:  I did pg 17-18 in MA 1 gr 1-2.  We talked about ones and tens places.

Spelling:  I did pg 59-60 in SW.

Language:  My mom read my FLL #41.

Science:  My mom read me Hands pg 30-31 K1HBE.

History:  My mom read Anansi and Turtle pg 89-93 in SOTW.  We also discussed the rev ?’s and I did the narr exer.  My mom read Half-A-Ball-of Kenki and The Hen and the Dove both from Misoso:  Once Upon a Time Tales from Africa retold by Verna Aardema.

Reading:  I read Come to School, Dear Dragon by Margaret Hillert to my mom.

Music:  I had music with the ps today.  I got to play the drums!

Spelling: I did pg 61-62 in SW vol A.

Math: I did pg 15 in MA gr 1-2. I figured out what time it was (2:39). I practiced skip counting by 2’s, 5’s, and 10’s.

Science: My mom read me Muscles at Work pg 28-29 in K1HBE.

Language: My mom read FLL #40 and I reviewed all the poems.

History: My mom read pg 87-89 Ch 11 Ancient Africa: Ancient Peoples of West Africa in SotW. We also discussed the rev ?’s and I did the narr rev in SotWAB. My mom read Leelee Goro: A Temne Tale from Misoso: Once Upon a Time Tales in Africa retold by Verna Aardema.

I had Daisies!!! I really love Daisies. We painted pumpkins.

(Sharon says: Ah!  I didn’t write down what we read for a few days and I have already brought all the books back to the library.  So, I am likely to forget some.)

She read Lon Po Po:  An Red-Riding Hood Story from China by Ed Young to me.  She also read The Heavenly Horse by David Hassal to Ryllan and me.

Spelling: I did pg 57&58 in SW vol A.

Math: I did pg 14 in MA 1 gr 1-2.

Language: I did Lesson 39 in FLL and reviewed all the poem memorizations to this point.

History: My mom read my SotW Ch 10 sect Farming in Ancient China. Then we discussed the review questions and did the narration exercise on pg 34 in SotWAB. My mom also read Lon Po Po: A Red-Riding Hood Story from China by Ed Young.

Reading: Come Dance with Me by Carol Nicklaus.

I read Popcorn by Alex Moran to Aunt Liz and Mom.  I also read Gumdrop Catches a Cold by Val Biro to my mom.

My mom read Mei Li (China) by L. Thomas Handforth to me.  She also read Anansi the Spider:  A Tale from the Ashanti (Africa) by Gerald McDermott to Ryllan and me.
