I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED my dance class. We are learning ballet and jazz. It was so fun and the teacher is really nice. There was only one boy in my class and he said as we were stretching “Are we just going to do ballet??!?! I am a boy. I don’t want to do ballet!” The teacher assured him that boys can do ballet too and that we would be learning jazz as well. He actually had a great time too.
I am sooooooooooooo excited!!!!! Gabriella is going to take it with me as well.
My mom bought me a little dance leotard. I love it.
I read Little Bear and Owl, Father Bear Comes Home, and Little Bear’s Mermaid all by Maurice Sendak and Tiny the Snow Dog by Cari Meister.
My mom read Frances Hodgson Burnett’s A Little Princess adapted by Deborah Hautzig (over three days), Papa’s Lemonade (a chapter book) by Eve Rice, and The Christmas Bell by Rolf Krenzer to Ryllan and me.
When my parents went out from their anniversary (11/10–8th anniversary) Aunt Liz read part of A Little Princess, Babybug by Carus Publishing Company, and The Hungry Caterpillar.

Field Trip!!!: We went to the fire department. We learned about fire safety, having a fire escape plan for our family, and what it is like to be a fire fighter. We sat in the fire truck and saw the jaws of life. Ryllan and I had a LOT of fun!
Today Ry and I are going on a hs’ing field trip to the fire station!!!! I am really, really, really excited! Will post about what we did later. Pics maybe too. Time to get ready to go!!!

My mom read Silly Steggy by Alison Cragin Herzig & Jane Lawrence Mali, Little Chick’s Big Day by Mary DeBall Kwitz, and Buzzle Billy: A Book About Sharing by Michael Waite to Ryllan and me.
My mom, aunts, uncles, my cousin (Zach), and I put on a skit for my Opa and Oma (my mom’s parents) for their 30th anniversary. It was sooo funny. We showed how they met, getting married, and then adopting and having their 14 children. I played my aunt, Leeann, as a child. Oma and Opa adopted her when she was almost 5. She is from Korea, but she had been living in a southern state for a while. She learned to speak English there and she had a strong southern accent. My opa is a tall man and when she met him the first thing she said was “My! You’re a big daddy, ain’tcha!?!” I got to say that with a really strong souther drawl. It was soo fun. It was really sweet, touching, and hilarious. I am glad we recorded it so we can have it for a long, long time.

Reading: I read at least one book everyday. Didn’t write down what I read…these are the ones know I read during this time: Stuck by Nancy VanLaan, Snow by P.D. Eastman, and How Many Fish? by Caron Lee Cohen, Tiny’s Bath by Cari Meister.
I also had Music on 11/1 and Pizza/Movie Day with the hs’ing group on 11/2. I had my first Level 2 swimming lessons on 11/2 as well. I really liked that. 11/7 I had Daisies. We talked about how we can respect ourselves and others.
