My 1st Swimming Lesson!!!! 11-2-06
Ryllan has been waiting and waiting to start taking swimming lessons. He turns 3 this month, so they said we could sign him up even though it is a little early. He LOVED it. Not that you can tell from this pic. He was smiling almost the whole time. But I only got to take one pic because the batteries on my camera were too low. Ugh. I wish I could have gotten a pic that showed how much he enjoyed it. In this pic the teacher is right with him, but isn’t holding on to him. Ry is holding the noodle and swimming. Ry screamed when it was time to get out though. I don’t think he knew it was coming. When we go tomorrow I am going to make sure I give him ample notice when the class is getting close to ending. He has been asking for swimming lessons everyday. He has them once a week–every Thursday.
Looks like fun! Cameron started swimming lessons today. They use kickboards to stay up in Cam’s class.

How fun! Ry used a kickboard as well. And a bubble–that the teacher called a “jet pack.” They used a variety of things.

How fun and wonderful! Swimming is a great thing for him to get in to. I think every kid should know how to swim because it’s a good safty precaution, and it teaches them not to be afraid of the water if naturally they are. Nolyn loves swimming too but uncertain about trying to swim on his own. Ryllan will certainly gain self confindence by swimming. I am happy he loves it so.
