Definition of a Christian

What does it mean to be a Christian? The Bible mentions “Christian” 3 times. Let’s look at these scriptures.
Acts 11:26 “And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the Church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.”
Acts 26:28 “Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost though persuadest me to be a Christian.”
1 Peter 4:16 “Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.”
None of these give a definition of what it is to be a Christian, but it is clear that it means to be a disciple/follower of Christ. If you recognize that Jesus Christ is your Savior. If you do all you can to follow him you are a Christian.
You do not need to believe in any creed. You need to have faith in the Jesus that he is the Son of God and our Savior. And follow him with all your heart, mind, and stregth.
